After Simran had a life changing experience hiking at Macchu Picchu which transformed her knee pain forever in 2012, she spent the next 10 years piecing the puzzle together so others could achieve the same results. 

​And after 10 years of testing out her hunches, it has now become a refined system - The Freedom To Move System which has been tested on hundreds of people and delivers a consistent result - the ability to move without any pain or restriction. Who are we fighting?

Conventional thinking that the knee and the body need fixing...

Conventional and the most common approach to treating knee pain is to treat the knee. The ​thinking is that the pain comes from the knee joint itself. Hence, treating the joint or replacing the joint will alleviate pain.

However, it is evident that the pain comes from the force that goes on the joint and not the joint itself. Hence, why a lot of knee treatments even knee replacements fail as the force of the body weight is still going on the joint when you stand and walk around. That's why generally there is less pain with sitting down compared to standing. And there is less pain if you stand in the pool as that force is no longer going on the knee. 

​So the truth is that the knee does not need fixing, but what needs fixing is the force going on the joint. The force of your body weight impacts the joint. If you can do your everyday movements without extra force going on your joint then two things happen - 1. the pain goes away as the force becomes less 2. the body starts to heal itself.

Because now we have created the right conditions for the body to heal itself. And we know that the body is really good at healing itself but only under the right conditions. Like a cut does not heal if it's kept wet. The knee does not heal if it is under constant strain.
